Sodium alginate (Na-Alg) is water-soluble, neutral, and linear polysaccharide. It the derivative of alginic acid which comprises 1,4-?-d-mannuronic (M) ?-l-guluronic (G) acids has chemical formula (NaC6H7O6). shows non-toxic, biocompatible, biodegradable, non-immunogenic properties. had been used for various biomedical applications, among most promising are drug delivery, gene wound dressing, healing. For different it in forms with help new techniques. That reason blended polymers. In this review article, we present a comprehensive overview combinations sodium natural synthetic polymers their applications involving delivery systems. All scientific/technical issues have addressed, highlighted recent advancements.
